We are seeking a responsible and experienced Live-In Manager for our BYU-Idaho Approved Housing complex. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the complex, ensuring the safety and well-being of our tenants, and maintaining a positive and supportive living environment. The Live-In Manager will live on-site and will be responsible for responding to emergencies and other issues outside of regular business hours.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the housing complex
- Manage tenant relations, including addressing concerns and enforcing lease agreements
- Maintain a safe and secure living environment
- Respond to emergency situations, such as fire alarms, medical emergencies, or security concerns
- Coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure that all repairs and maintenance tasks are completed in a timely manner
- Enforce housing policies and procedures, including parking regulations and noise restrictions
- Conduct move-in and move-out inspections
- Assist with the rental application process, including conducting tours and answering questions from prospective tenants
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in property management or related field
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of leasing regulations and fair housing laws
- Willingness to live on-site and respond to emergencies outside of regular business hours
- Familiarity with BYU-Idaho housing policies and procedures (preferred)
